RETURNS, EXCHANGES & GIFT CARD POLICY

Every piece we ship is carefully inspected, so they leave the store in perfect condition.

Our policy lasts 5 days after the order was received. Starting when the tracking number appears as "delivered".  All claims must be made within that time. If  5 days have gone by since your receipt of goods, unfortunately we can’t offer you an exchange by size or a store credit for the value of your return.

*You should send an email to returns@southbyelaine.com with the subject "Exchange or Return" and the order number to initiate the exchange process.

*The email must include photos (evidence) of any damage and/or the reason for the exchange.

*To be eligible for a return or an exchange by size, your item must be new, unused, unworn, unwashed, no visible signs of wear such like: makeup, deodorant stains, fragrances, unaltered, with tags attached and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. 

*Please avoid trying on the clothing with makeup to prevent any potential stains. Stained items will not be eligible for exchange or return.



NON RETURNABLE ITEMS: 

We do not accept products returned or exchanges that are; 

-Intimate, Swimwear, Bodysuits or  Sanitary goods

-Pre-Orders, White or Ivory Clothing, Leather, Metallic, Glitter, Rhinestone, Holiday  or Seasonal Clothing, One Size Clothing, Accessories, Jewelry & Sale items

*ALL OF THE ABOVE ARE FINAL SALE and cannot be returned for a store credit or exchanged.  NO EXCEPTIONS,

ADDITIONAL NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS: 

- Gift cards 

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. 

Please do not send your purchase back before contacting us  and we give you instructions.

You will responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. 

Shipping fees are non-refundable and will not be included in your store credit.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item. 

*We reserve the right to deny any unreasonable returns or exchanges.


STORE CREDIT (if applicable)

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your store credit.

If you are approved, then your store credit will be processed, the store credit is without the cost of shipping. The store credit will be valid for 90 days.  


Sale items cannot be refunded.

Only regular priced items may be exchange by size or have a store credit.

 

EXCHANGES (if applicable)

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item but another size, send us an email at returns@southbyelaine.com.

                                                        GIFTS

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you. 

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return. 

*Shipping fees are non-refundable and will not be included in your gift credit.

                                                    GIFT CARDS  

This Gift Certificate has a predetermined value and is valid for merchandise at South by Elaine.

Terms and Conditions

• Not redeemable for cash: This gift certificate is not redeemable for cash.

• Shipping costs: Shipping costs are not included.

• Non-transferable and non-refundable: This certificate is non-transferable and non-refundable.

• Lost or stolen: It will not be replaced if lost or stolen.

• One-time use: Valid for one-time use only.

• Purchases exceeding value: If the purchase exceeds the amount of the gift certificate, the customer must pay the difference.

• Purchases less than value: If the purchase is less than the amount of the gift certificate, the remaining balance is not refundable.

• Inventory availability: Subject to inventory availability.

• Promotions: Not valid with other promotions.

• Expiration: Expires 6 month from the date of purchase or that's in the gift card.

We do not accept cancellations once your order has been placed.
